A timer isn't a training program

Most freediving apps just run a table, and that's it. They ignore that you spearfished for three hours on Saturday, that you're wrecked on Monday, and that your equalization stalls at 12 m. The result: you follow a plan that doesn't fit you.

Each quality improves through its real lever

In freediving, “training harder” means nothing until you specify what. Each discipline has its own physiological mechanism — the program handles them separately.

CO₂ tolerance

Bottom time and the ability to chain dives. A level gained = shorter recovery, not longer breath-holds.

Hypoxia tolerance

Your maximum duration. Here, a level extends your holds toward your max — recovery times, on the other hand, stay long and complete.

Equalization & depth

The real ceiling for most spearos. Dry Frenzel and chest flexibility, explained step by step.

Going spearfishing? The plan reorganizes

A trip counts as a session

You log your spearfishing trip: it counts as a heavy load. Recovery slots in behind it, and the planned session isn't lost — it just moves right after.

Levels you earn

Four sessions that felt easy on one quality, and you move up a level. A session that's too hard drops you down a notch. In between, the load stays stable.

Timer-guided sessions

Full screen, phase by phase, audio cues, and the exercise explanation shown while you do it. On max breath-holds, the timer counts up.

Safety built in

Dry training only, never hyperventilation, a buddy reminder at every session. Freediving doesn't forgive carelessness.

Three steps, and you're off

  1. 01
    Measure your baseline
A maximal dry static breath-hold, timer-guided. It calibrates all the program's timings and recalculates as soon as you improve.
  2. 02
    Follow the day's session
CO₂ tables, O₂ tables, apnea walks, equalization, recovery: the program alternates what's needed, when it's needed.
  3. 03
    Log how it felt
Easy, okay or hard. The plan for the following days recalculates immediately, discipline by discipline.
Safety warning — read before you start.

Freediving carries a real risk of blackout, even for experienced practitioners. Never freedive alone in the water: always with a buddy who watches you at the surface (“one up, one down”). The sessions on this site are meant to be done dry, lying down or seated, in a safe place. Never hyperventilate before a breath-hold. This site is a training tool: it replaces neither formal instruction nor medical advice.
